The first time in years i have enjoyed doing nothing more than wonder at a little ant running up and down my arm. Of course the fact that i was doing it in the luxury and beauty of the Universal Peace Centre is really not surprising. Cant wait to leave the rat race again and catch up with my enlightened ant - Geoff Barker Best selling author, Tv and media personality

Dear Grant, My wife Chris and I could not have enjoyed the experience more, totally immersing ourselves in the harmony and energy of the place. The facilities were fantastic, the food was unbelievable and the people working there were very helpful and giving. We really enjoyed the walks through the magnificent grounds, swimming in the spa and gorgeous pool, chatting with new friends in the dining room, and we actually slept in, for the first time in a long while, due to the peaceful surrounds and tranquil wildlife sounds. Chris and I can?t wait to return and share some of the retreats and courses you have to offer. I also know several of my friends that certainly need some of that serenity, knowledge and nature that you can offer. Thanks again for one of the most enjoyable weekends we have ever had. Kindest regards, Colin Handley: Principal Stunt Academy

About The Founders

Grant and Naomi Hilton

Grant is a self made multi millionaire who moved away from home at the age of 17 to find himself living on the streets with nothing. From here he started in advertising to become the manager of a company at 18. By 24 he had put his first company together. He became a self made millionaire at 25 and moved out of advertising and marketing at 29 to take a break for a year. He married Naomi. At 31 he and Naomi started a building and developing company which they managed for 3 years. They then took a 3 year break to go on a spiritual journey living off previous earnings. Grant had realized he had hit his dream he became financially free!! He found himself with all his material dreams and wishes coming true. At 34 he had a life changing event happen which changed his direction in life. The outcome of his success in the material world was meant to be total happiness. This was not the case, an inner happiness was missing until he attended a 10 day silent retreat (Vipassana). After these 10 days an awakening occurred for the first time in many years true happiness was found and a feeling of letting go was present. He sold all his expensive material possessions, a mansion in prestigious Gold Coast, a two story boat, the Mercedes convertible and moved to the rainforest to start a retreat where others in the same position could find true inner happiness and realize what was really the most important things in life. That was his inner peace thanks to his wife Naomi who had stood by him through his angry times.

Grant studied with many great spiritual masters. At 36, he received full DA Approval to build a multi million dollar executive retreat at UKI NSW. He has decided to move forward with his purpose in life which is to help the world to become a better place through launching a world peace campaign through the Universal Peace Centre. In order to raise funds for the children who have been victims of war. The centre will also be teaching people how to find their inner peace through Vipassana Meditation, Breathwork Mastery and Yoga.

The launch of their new campaign which will target the issues before us. Issues to be rectified, the solutions have been found.
Fabricated wars
Pollution of cars
Loss of water supply
Fishing out the oceans
His goal is to help the environment for with out this there will be no world for any of us not even our own families to come.

The purpose of the UPC retreat is to help people to take time out and realize the important things in life before it is too late. If you are suffering from any of the following; anger, depression, constantly wanting more but never being satisfied in the end, or are suffering from any sort of addiction or illness then this place is for you.

Although he had already been seeking out his spiritual path he continued the search for inner answers, he continued his Vipassana meditation as taught by S.N.Goenka daily to keep his mind focused.

He also branched out and studied and completed his masters in Breathwork Mastery with a yogi swami by the name of Alakh Analda. Level 1 to 8 - a diploma course, this is the only accredited course in its field in Australia.

Grant then went in search of the most amazing teacher of wisdom. He found and studied with the writer of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, Sogyal Rinpoche.
Ishta

Having spent intensive time with Sogyal Rinpoche the teachings were nothing short of enlightening. Following his visions, his lifes purpose has been revealed to him. The spiritual retreat for meditation, spiritual wisdom teachings, and yoga for the benefit of all beings. The Universal Peace Centre.

After finding out that Sogyal Rinpoche and the Dalai Lama were friends, Naomi and Grant went for a journey to India to the New Tibet where the Dalai Lama and monks are in exile. The Dalai Lama has a house/ temple in a small place called McLeod Gang in NTH India. They took part in ceremonies and classes at the Dalai Lamas home. Also wandered through the Himalayas and spent much time in meditation. (Credit: Universal Peace Centre).
