Quantum of Solace, the film sees Bond return to Latin America, with scenes shot
in Baja California, Panama City and Chile's Atacama Desert. Can
the locations in this latest instalment live up to some of 007's most memorable
missions abroad?
The
first official Bond film, Dr No, featured one of the franchise's most iconic
moments - Ursula Andress in her white two-piece on the fictional Caribbean island
of Crab Key. The scene was actually shot on a stretch of the Florida Keys. Diamonds
are Forever takes Bond to the United States to infiltrate a smuggling ring
(and of course, save the world), where he also finds time to meet Plenty O'Toole,
played by Lana Wood, at a Las Vegas casino.

Richard
Branson chats about embracing ethanol and slashing airplane emissions (2006) Q-
The world is grappling with so many grand-scale problems today -- poverty, disease,
terrorism. Why did you decide to focus your efforts on global warming? A-
What sets climate change apart from these other crises is that most people can't
see the problem -- CO2 gases are invisible. If you could see them and they were
colored red, 50 years ago it would have looked like a small brush fire smoldering
around the world, and today it would look like a wildfire raging across the globe.
We desperately need leaders who can help bring visibility and forge solutions
to this imperceptible menace before it's too late. Going
green Rupert Murdoch says "we
could make a difference just by holding our emissions steady as our businesses
continue to grow, but that doesn't seem to be enough" "This
is about changing the DNA of our business to re-imagine how we look at energy."
